Character of Christ - Christian Love

Christian character building has been an emphasis in this current generation and has been a learning curve for our church.

We are going to start with Christian LOVE. I would like to focus on 1 Cor 13:4-7 & Ephesians 5:1&2

We know about different types of Love. There are seven Greek words and their meanings which you can find in this article by Rania Naim.

Love does not rejoice in wrong doing. This is a key identifier for Christian Love.

Definition:
Based on John 14:15, I would like to define Christian Love as - Being obedient to the commands of God.

Learning from the Scripture
1 Corinthians 13:7 - KJV teaches that in Christian Love, one is ready to bear, believe, hope and endure all things. Do we bear ALL things?? Do we believe ALL things? When I write about hope, are we ready to keep hoping for a better action or a better response in spite of taking up conversations and discussions over and over again?? When I write about endurance, do we keep enduring even if it costs our life?? It seems very very difficult and impossible in the modern scenario, but that's the ideal of Christian Love in the word of God depicting by Jesus Christ himself on the cross.

Influence of Christian Love
Love builds up (1 Corinthians 8:1)
Love fuels our passion and motivates us (2 Corinthins 5:14)
Love causes us to fulfill God's law (Galatians 5:13,14)
Love causes us to grow mature (Ephesians 4:15,16)
Love brings us into deeper revelation (Philipians 1:9)

Let us continue to grow in the Love of Christ.

परमेश्वर के सम्पूर्ण कवच - भाग २ - The Full Armor of God - Part 2

भाग १ का सिलसिला पिछले भाग में हमने कवच पहने रहने के कुछ कारण देखे और कवच के २ हत्यारों में बारे में सीखे थे, यहाँ हम उसका अगला भाग सीखेंगे। ३. विश्वास की ढाल - युद्ध में ढाल एक ऐसा हत्यार है, जिस के उपयोग से, वार किया जाने वाले सारे हत्यारों के हानी से एक योद्धा बचता है, यदि सही दिशा में उसे फेरते है। उसी प्रकार, हमारे मसीह जीवन में विश्वास एक ढाल के समान है, जो शैतान के हर प्रकार के वार से हमें बचाता है। उसे सही तरीके से इस्तेमाल करने हम वचन से सीखे, अर्थात् हमें कभी और कहाँ अपने ज़बान से विश्वास के वचन बोलकर हमारे मुसीबतों पर विजय पाना है, इसका हमें फैसला लेना है। निराशा, हार, दुखी वचनों को त्यागना है, और जीवन के वचन हमारे होठो से हमें बोलना है। ४. कमर पर सत्य का फेंटा: कवच के बारे में लिखने पर, सबसे पहले बताया हुवा हत्यार है - सत्य का फेंटा, जिससे हम यह सीखते है, कि सत्य ही हमें स्तिर रख सकती है। अटल खड़े रहने के लिए, हमें सत्य को थामे रहना ज़रूरी है। हमारी जान जाए तब भी हमें सत्य को पकडे रखना है, वह चाहे वचन की सच्चाई हो, या जीवन की सच्चाई हो, या एतियासिक सच्चाई

It is a great joy to write songs in praise of our Creator who has control over us in every manner. This is another song that I received in the presence of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ as I was preparing for the ICPF - Berhampur camp 2017. I pray that this would be a blessing to many.
